9 Places To Meet Santa Claus On the Space Coast

Santa Claus has arrived on Florida’s Space Coast, and he’s ready for his close up! And what Christmas would be complete without a meet-n-greet with Ol’ St. Nick? To make it easy on you parents and grandparents out there, we’ve rounded up 9 of the best places for kids to see and take a photo with the big man in red before Christmas Day arrives.

November 15 – December 24 Bass Pro Shops Palm Bay

Santa’s Wonderland returns to Bass Pro Shop in Palm Bay.  A portion of the store has been decorated into a winter wonderland featuring a full schedule of activities and events from decorating cookies and stick soldiers to coloring at activity tables and operating radio controlled cars.  A 4×6 studio-quality photo with Santa is complimentary and on week nights, Bass Pro Shops will be gifting the first 125 children into the story between the hours of 7 and 9 with holiday-themed backpack clips. more information


December 6 -7, 13 – 14, 20-21 noon – 4pm

The creators of the Haunted Lair are hosting The Night Before Christmas House. Admission includes pictures with Santa, arts and crafts with a percentage of the proceeds going to Serene Harbor, a domestic violence shelter. Admission is $6. Children under 2 are FREE. Daily December 8 – 24 – Viera

Santa has set up shop in Light Up Viera’s Holiday Village through December 23rd. He’ll be in his Sandcastle Workshop, crafted by Sandsational Sand Sculpting. Pictures with Santa cost $10 and include a 4″x 6″ print in a commemorative frame, and a digital download via VieraSanta.com. Also, from December 21-24, Ol’ St. Nick will read Twas The Night Before Christmas at 7:00 PM

Santa’s Hours:

– Monday-Thursday: 5-7 p.m.
– Friday-Sunday: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; 3-5 p.m.; 6-8 p.m.


December 17 – Merritt Island (Merritt Square Mall Macy’s Courtyard at the Santa Station)

Santa Claus will read a few Christmas Classics for the little ones and children are invited to come in their pajamas and enjoy milk and cookies! Bring another pair of pajamas and a blanket to donate to a child in need. All donations benefit The Haven for Children. Begins at 10am.

December 20 – Merritt Island  

Woody Simpson Park, 1590 Schoolhouse St in Merritt Island, FL, will host a free lunch for children on Saturday, December 20. There will also be a toy raffle and opportunity for a photo with Santa.


December 20 – Merritt Island

Brevard County Parks and Recreation will host a pancake breakfast with Santa at Kiwanis Island Community Center, 951 Kiwanis Island Park Rd. in Merritt Island. Cost to attend is $3. Children will receive a photo taken with Santa and a stocking filled with goodies. 



December 20 – Viera

Santa Claus will drop by The Avenue Viera’s courtyard (behind Panera Bread and The Pizza Gallery) on Saturday, December 20 from noon to 4pm. Later in the evening, there will also be live music and complimentary carriage rides from 6pm-9pm


December 21 – Merritt Island

Merritt Square Mall will host Sensitive Santa for children with Autism or Sensory Development Disorders to visit Santa in a special “sensory friendly” setting with lower lighting and a quieter surrounding. December 21 – Merritt Island

Bring the entire family to the Zoo and watch as zoo keepers give gifts (animal enrichments) to the animals from 10am-3pm each day. In addition, the Zoo will host Santa and Mrs. Claus from 9 to 11 a.m. on December 20 and from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. December 21 and 22 as well as provide games and crafts for the kids.
