Native Music Festival Boasts Grammy-Winning Lineup

The 6th Annual Native Rhythms Festival returns to Florida’s Space Coast November 7-9th.8af128ea-4908-44ba-92c6-f990793c2b58

This three-day festival will be held in beautiful Wickham Park in Melbourne, Florida and will honor the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas especially the music of the Native American Flute. Native American arts and crafts, hands-on activities and traditional indigenous foods highlight this event.

Headline performers for the festival will include two-time grammy winner Robert Mirabal and Grammy nominee Michael Brant DeMaria. 

Two-time GRAMMY winner Robert Mirabal has been described as a Native American “Renaissance man” – musician, composer, painter, master craftsman, poet, actor, screenwriter, horseman and farmer – and travels extensively playing his music all over the world. His dozen albums of traditional music, rock and roll, and spoken word present a contemporary view of American Indian life.

Grammy nominee and Native American Music Award winner is a multi-instrumentalist whose albums has both a magical quality of simplicity as well as an ancient sense of  timelessness and eternity.

Other festival performers include violinist Arvel Bird, flutist Jonny Lipford, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Randy Granger, flutist Dock Green Silverhawk, Painted Raven, multi-instrumentalist Mark McGourley, George Tortorelli and Lisa Lynne, flutist Billy Whitefox, Sydney Kokopelli Girl Phipps, Flutist Holly Harris, flutist Gareth Laffely, flutist Timothy J.P. Gomez, and dancer Ed WindDancer
