I am Jen, the owner and author of The Suburban Mom. As the mom of two wonderful (and active) girls, my days are filled with carpool, diaper changes, craft projects and all things mommy. Becoming a mom inspired the creation of The Suburban Mom, and since being a mom means wearing many hats I am never at a loss for words.I am working with Florida’s Space Coast and will be contributing to the Visit Space Coast Blog over the next few weeks. I’m so excited to share some of my family’s adventures on the Space Coast.
Fall For Fun At Florida’s Space Coast
Now that everyone has settled into a fall routine, it might be time to mix things up with a mini family vacay. If adventure and fun are on your family’s wish list for a weekend getaway, Florida’s Space Coast has a lot to offer. In addition to year-round fun like airboat riding, kayaking, animal spotting, beach fun and more, there are special events just for fall visitors.

Of course, the best treat of all is visiting the zoo’s residents – don’t miss the meerkats, rhinos and giraffes. Boo at the Zoo runs October 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26 from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. Prices range from $8 to $14 a ticket depending on the day of admission.
