Space Coast Super Boat Races Quench the Need For Speed

The excitement is building on our coast for this week’s Third Annual Space Coast Super Grand Prix! Scheduled to start on Wednesday, May 16 this three-day event has grown in popularity in the span of three short years. And it’s no surprise considering it isn’t everyday one gets to see boats sluicing through the water at speeds of 125 mph or more!

Designated as the season opener, Cocoa Beach  will once again attract race teams from around the world and thousands of spectators. Events planned for the this week include a boat parade through the streets of downtown, live entertainment, block parties, bikini contests, and an opportunity for race to meet the teams.
