Mix up Your Weekend on the Space Coast with Art, Beer, and Seafood

Spring is sprung on Florida’s Space Coast! The weather is picture perfect and there’s plenty to do this weekend on our coast.

Grab your stein and head up to the TITUSVILLE BEER CRAFT FESTIVAL on Saturday, March 31 from 6-9pm! More than 60 beers will be available to sample at this event to be held in downtown historic Titusville.

Don’t forget that this weekend the  Brevard County Fair is winding down.  Now in its fourth year, the Brevard County Fair is a traditional fair with rides, 4-H demonstrations, blue-ribbon contests, midway rides and a full-blown rodeo! http://ow.ly/9LIEk

Speaking of good-bye, the Washington Nationals will wrap up their spring training season this weekend as well.  Their final game of the season will be on Saturday, March 31 against the St. Louis Cardinals at Space Coast Stadium. For tickets for Friday’s or Saturday’s game click here.

If you’re into the arts, then this weekend is right up your alley! Not one but three fine art exhibitions will take over Florida’s Space Coast this weekend from 17th Annual SPLASH of Watercolor , Titusville Art League’s 48th Annual Spring Show and the Spring Fling Garden Party. Admission is free to all three events.

Looking to whet your appetite? Well there are two major food events planned for Florida’s Space Coast this weekend! The 2nd Annual Cocoa Beach SeaFest  and 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off are both slated for Saturday, March 31.  The Cocoa Beach SeaFest will be held at Lori Wilson Park, 1500 N A1A in Cocoa Beach, Florida and will feature fresh seafood cooked by local vendors, a classic car show, arts & crafts vendors and more!  Admission is free. Pay to eat.  The 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off will be held in downtown Cocoa Village’s Riverfront Park from 1pm to 5pm.  Expect hot eats, cool live music and fun for the kids. Admission is free as well. 

You can also go green this weekend by taking one of several guided nature hikes planned for this weekend such as the Pioneer Pathways Nature Hikes. This 1/2 mile hike will focus on the history of Pine Island and how the plants found along our trail were used by the pioneers. 

Want to really treat the kid’s this weekend?  There’s no shortage of things to do from the Big Truck Day, Melbourne PD’s Spring Festival or Kennedy Space Center’s Salute to the Girl Scouts! Both the Truck Day and Spring Festival are free.
