Holidays on Florida’s Space Coast are wild. And nothing is more wild than the Brevard Zoo’sHoliday Happenings! 

Beginning December 17, the Brevard Zoo will celebrate the holidays with three weeks of activities for the entire family! 
The zoo has set aside days to give gifts to the animals, games and crafts are planned available for patrons and daytime and evening events are available for children. Their education department also offers a Zoo camp and a special New Year’s Eve Overnight stay.

December 17: Holiday Shopping Night Hike

A fun-filled night where children can shop for everyone on their holiday list in the Zoo’s Gift Shop, go on a night hike safari, make crafts, and have pizza for dinner.  Let us have fun with the kids while you enjoy a night to get things done.

December 21-23: Gifts to the Animals

Each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the the Zoo will give gifts to the animals at the following times:

In addition, the Zoo will host Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Flamingo Cafe from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day. There will also be special animal encounters at the Main Entrance daily.

December 27-30 Winter Camp: Animal Adaptions

Campers investigate why animals need the adaptations they have and how they aid in their survival. A fun-filled camp with loads of activities, crafts, games, animal encounters, and more. Come see what winter is like at the Zoo and make new friends at the coolest camp around!

December 31: New Year’s Eve Twilight Spectacular Overnight

Kids will ring in the New Year with our animal friends. The night is sure to be spectacular! Space is limited, so reserve now!

January 3-6: Winter Camp: Animal Senses

Campers explore the different senses of a variety of animals and discover what makes them so unique.

Now through Jan. 1, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will celebrate the holidays as they present  its first-ever Holidays in Space.

This month-long event will feature Holiday Carolers, a Skating rink in the rocket garden, a forty-foot Christmas tree, holiday decorations galore and several “control centers”  that give guests the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus, create a Christmas Cookie representing one of the International Space Station’ s partner countries, and hear a Space-themed story by Mrs. Claus
