Most people head indoors during the winter months. Not so for the residents along Florida’s Space Coast. Throughout the season, you’ll find plenty to do both in and outdoors. One of these events being the 21st Annual Indialantic Art Festival, which takes place annually in Indialantic, Florida a scenic beachside town nestled on the shores of the Atlantic.
For two days, this nationally recognized art festival turns the area into a virtual beachside gallery as it brings together more than 100 of the nation’s top artists, who blend perfectly in a cacaphony of visual art.
The 21st Annual Indialantic Art Festival is usually held the second weekend in January. This year the event is scheduled for January 15-16, 2011 at James H. Nance Park from 10am-5pm. Expect life-size sculptures, handmade pottery, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, and photography.
General admission is free as well as parking. Items will be available for purchase on site. For more events on Florida’s Space Coast visit www.space-coast.com/Calendar.
