Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Salutes Space Coast With Free Admission!

As a salute to residents of Brevard County, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex  will host its popular annual Salute to Brevard Residents, a free weekend and food drive, September 10-12, 2010.

For this three-day celebration, Space Coast residents and up to five guests will enjoy free admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! Residents will need to show proof of residency, in the form of a driver’s license or utility bill, to gain complimentary admission to the Visitor Complex .


Complimentary admission includes the Shuttle Launch Experience, the Kennedy Space Center Tour, 3D IMAX® films including the new Hubble 3D, the new STAR TREKT LIVE show, and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®, featuring historic spacecraft and the world’s largest collection of personal astronaut mementos.

While not mandatory for complimentary admission, Guests are also encouraged to participate in Kennedy Space Center’s annual food drive that weekend by bringing  canned goods or non-perishable food items to benefit the Central Brevard Sharing Center, North Brevard Charities, and South Brevard Sharing Center. The suggested donation is at least one food item or canned good per guest.
