Soon residents and visitors of Florida’s Space Coast will be able to experience the thrill and adventure of flying in an open cockpit biplane!
The Space Coast’s newest attraction, Florida Biplanes, will provide scenic ride flights in their authentic 1941 fully-restored Waco UPF-7 biplane. According to the aircraft’s owners, the plane once served as a WWII trainer and is now the mainstay of barnstorming and a booming scenic ride businesses around the country.
The Waco UPF-7 biplane accommodates two passengers per flight, so you can experience this exciting adventure with a friend or family.
Rides will begin in October and will be offered daily from Merritt Island Airport (Reservations required). Florida Biplanes will offer 15, 30, and 45-minute scenic rides, as well as romantic Sunset & Full-moon flights. For more information visit http://floridabiplanes.homestead.com/
