Charitable Surfing Festival Reigns

Not sure what to do for Labor Day weekend?  Think about taking a charitable vacation!  Sand, surf, and fun will collide in a big way Labor Day weekend as the 25th Annual NKF Pro/Am Surf Festival kicks off on September 3, 2010. 

With events taking place at two different beachside venues (Shepard Park and Cocoa Beach Pier) there’s no wonder that this annual event attracts thousands of spectators every year.

 

Billed as the largest charity surfing festival in the world, the 25th Annual NKF Pro/Am Surf Festival draws both professional and amateur surfers alike who will hit the waves to compete in more than a dozen divisions from Men’s Pro Long Board to Girls Menehune. 

The highlight of this four-day festival may be its head to head competition, but it also offers tons of events for those sidelined on the beach!  From the annual Taste of Brevard and a VIP Cocktail Party, to live music, FREE cancer screenings, bikini contests, karate demos, posters signing, and BMX and skate demonstrations all beachside!
