TYG Studios announced that they will be hosting a casting call and volunteer orientation meeting in connection with this summer’s feature-length presentation motion picture filming the screen adaptation of Ryann Watters and the King’s Sword.
The movie project is a cinematic version of the first book in the series and represents a true “mini-budget” film – a God-sized project believing for God to step in where limited resources and abilities stop. As has been the case with recent successful Christian movie releases, such as Fireproof, Letters to God, and Facing the Giants, budgets are limited, by Hollywood standards, and it is the passion and “let’s pitch in and help” attitude of all participants that brings a magnificent “fishes and loaves” result to the final story.
The film is being shot entirely on location in Florida – with significant “home town” sequences set in Mount Dora, Florida and Florida’s Space Coast– where TYG Studio Complex is headquartered. Principal photography is set for July/August 2010 and release is planned for Summer 2011.
