History Comes Alive With Replicas of Columbus’ Ships

“Following the light of the sun, we left the Old World.”

Christopher Columbus

If you’re on Florida’s Space Coast this weekend, think about taking a step back in time by taking a tour of replicas of Christopher Columbus’ two ships, The Nina and Pinta.

Docked at the Titusville Marina, 451 Marina Rd, the two ships were made entirely by hand and without the use of power tools and what many historians consider to be the most historically correct Christopher Columbus replicas ever built.

While in port until Monday, the general public can take a self guided tour between the hours of 9am-6pm.   Ticket prices are: $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for senior citizens, and $5.00 for students 5-16.  Children 4 and under are Free.  To learn more about both ships or to see where they will make port next, visit: www.thenina.com.

  1. I Love Christopher Colombus. The left wing MORONS hate him, they think that Colombus enslaved over 10 million Indians with the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria.
    Dumb..

    1. Well my admiration for the navigator went up threefold this weekend when we toured the two ships. They are tiny and cramped for the number of crew which was about 26. It took alot of guts to climb aboard one of those things and sail to the unknown.
