The 72 miles that make up Florida’s Space Coast will be lit with a plethora of fireworks displays for the upcoming Independence holiday weekend!
On Saturday, Independence Day Celebrations gear up early with a morning parade winding through historic downtown Melbourne, the celebrations continue with a total of FOUR slated in the evening. Cost: FREE
The 2nd Annual “Red, White and Boom” hosted by the City of Titusville and Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum will be held at the Space Coast Regional Airport, 6600 Tico Road in Titusville. This four hour event will include flyovers by several of the museum’s vintage warplances.
Staying in the south part of the county? Well the City of Melbourne will continue their morning celebration into the night with a special fireworks display over the Indian River Lagoon at Claude Edge Front Street Park, 2210 Front St., in Melbourne. The City of Melbourne will also provide FREE shuttle transportation to the Park due to lack of parking. The bus service will begin at 7:10 p.m. from Melbourne Auditorium, 625 Hibiscus Boulevard. Cost: FREE
And finally, but surely not least, the City of Cocoa Beach with donations from the community will throw it’s annual and extremely popular fireworks on the Beach.
All of events are free to the public and most will feature children activities, food vendors, live music, and local DJs.
