Shuttle Launch Viewing Tickets Still Available

There’s still a limited number of launch viewing tickets still available to view the morning launch of space shuttle Endeavour from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

STS-127, targeted for Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 7:17 a.m. ET, from Cape Canaveral, fl, will deliver the final components of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Kibo laboratory to the International Space Station (ISS).

Guests will view the launch from the Rocket Garden of the Visitor Complex, a viewing area six miles away from the launch pad. Guests will also enjoy live NASA countdown audio and video presentations on a jumbo-sized screen, astronaut appearances and launch briefings.

Admission tickets must be purchased in advance to receive a special car placard to allow entry to Kennedy Space Center after the gates close. Tickets can be purchased online or by telephone and must be picked up at the Visitor Complex prior to June 13.

Visitor Complex admission is $38+ tax for adults and $28+ tax for children ages 3-11 and includes viewing of the space shuttle Endeavour launch from the Visitor Complex, admission to the center, and access to all rides.
