Floridians Asked to Share A Little Sunshine To Stimulate Economy

SALS_VFBannerAd_160x600VisitFlorida,the official tourism marketing department for the state of Florida, recently launched a humongous viral campaign aimed at Florida residents called Share  a Little Sunshine.

The campaign is an email based initiative to empower Floridians to help stimulate their economy by getting them to reconnect with friends and families and inviting them to take a trip down to the Sunshine State.

All Floridians have to do to Share a Little Sunshine is visit sharealittlesunshine.org, select a free video invitation and email it to friends and family.

And as a thank you for participating, everyone who emails an invitation is entered into a drawing to win one of 12 weekly Florida trip giveaways.

Some of the giveaways are pretty keen.  For example, the Space Coast  is participating and we’re giving away a package that includes:

*3 nights in a Jacuzzi suite at the Radisson at the Port followed by an additional 3 night stay in an ocean view suite at Comfort Inn & Suites on Cocoa Beach.

*Complimentary tickets to Brevard Zoo

*A 2-hour Dolphin Girl Cruises & Eco Tour

*A tree-top Zipline eco tour from Forever Florida

*A $200 gift certificate from Ron Jon Surf Shop

*Free admission on SunCruz Casino

*A one hour surf lesson by Cocoa Beach Surf Company, and

*2 general admission tickets for Kennedy Space Center.

VisitFlorida hopes to reach more than 11 million people with the campaign.
