Daytona Bike Week’s Jam Packed Schedule

As always during the late months of winter/early months of Spring, Daytona Beach becomes a beacon for biker enthusiast who converge on Central Florida to fraternize and oggle each other’s hardware.  

 

This year, I’m pretty sure many of you are looking to cut corners so for those of you looking for cheaper hotel rates, less traffic and a nice scenic ride without the heavy traffic, you should think about staying on  which is only 40 miles south Daytona.  What’s the incentive?  Two scenic routes (I-95 and U.S. Highway 1) and inexpensive hotel rooms some starting at low as $49 a night

Here are a handful of the events to take place during the week of February 27- March 8, 2009 on both the Space Coast and Daytona Beach/Surrounding Areas:

 

FLORIDA SPACE COAST:

ABATE NIGHT

Date : February 27, 2009

 

Friday night is ABATE Independence Chapter, Bike Night at Mister Tony’s. Mister Tony’s is located at 1549 Palm Bay Road right behind Applebee’s. enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, good food, and beverages at Mister Tony’s 7:00 – 9:00 PM. The bike night starts at 7pm and goes to 10pm. Plenty of bike parking and plenty of great food and drinks. Nobody has a parking lot bigger than Mister Tony’s for bike parking. HOG OPEN HOUSE & PIN STOP DAYTONA

2008 HOG Open House @ Bike Week in Daytona @ the Convention Center from 10:00 – 12:00. You MUST have your NATIONAL HOG member card to get in. Pin stop @ the Speedway anytime all week long. Meet @ Pineda Boat Ramp @ 8:30 am.

Biker Welcome Center

 

Date :March 3-8, 2009

 

Biker welcome center at Messiah Lutheran Church on U.S. 1 in Cocoa, about 1/2 mile south of the Beach Line. Open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 5-8. Free water, coffee, doughnuts and vendors.

RIVERFRONT PARK
