Historic Downtown Melbourne’s monthly family friendly street party enters its second decade of providing residents and visitors from throughout Brevard and surrounding counties with four non-stop hours of great music and dancing in the streets from 6-10 p.m. Visitors can stroll the streets and enjoy over 60 art, craft and business vendors, food vendors a beer and wine station, and the popular Kid’s Zone. Most downtown shops remain open for FRIDAY FEST, as do the finest collection of restaurants and nightspots in Brevard County.

The Surfet Saltwater Sweetheart Board Fest
Benefiting the Boarding For Breast Cancer Foundation, the Surfet Saltwater Sweetheart Board Fest will be hosted by Coconuts on the Beach on Saturday, February 14. The event will feature girls and women’s pro divisions as well as amateur. Other events for this weekend long festival include a registration party Friday, February 13 at Coconuts and a Girls Free Skate Session featuring Lea Taylor and DJ on Saturday at 6p.m.

Her sensitive portrayals of actors, artists, celebrities, and of everyday women reveal a close collaboration between the photographer and the subject; showing the true personalities behind the public persona. This traveling exhibition was made possible by The Women’s Museum: An Institute for the Future, Dallas, Texas.
