The Amazing Kreskin To take place on Saturday, October 18 at the University’s Clemente Center, 150 University Blvd., in Melbourne, the evening will begin with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., a sit-down dinner, and several presentations, an anniversary proclamation, and an art auction by artist Derek Gores. Boo at the Zoo Join the Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Rd. in Viera, for its annual Halloween event Boo at the Zoo which rins every night Friday through Sunday, Oct. 17-19 and 24-26. Enjoy treat stations, games, crafts, haunted trail, mystery maze and more. The Amazing Kreskin will entertain dinner guests at Florida Technology’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner.

Folk Festival Downtown Cocoa Village Several bands are lined up for a one-day Folk Festival at Cafe Unique Amish Deli, 607 Florida Avenue in Cocoa. The bands lined up to perform include Janet Reedy, Mark Jacobs, Surf Road Project, Almost NormAL, and One Street Over. Admission is free! The Passion of Dracula Classic Dracula legend set in the English countryside in 1911 where several village girls have died under mysterious circumstances. Dr. Seward presides over a nearby mental hospital and the locality has acquired a new resident, Count Dracula! A trio of doctors, a young reporter and a stouthearted English lord battle the Count for possession of the lovely heroine. Classic Albums Live Series – Led Zeppelin’s “1” Classic Albums Live Concert Series presents five classic rock albums each performed live by a hand picked cast of musicians & vocalists specific for each performance. Junior Ranger Program – Canaveral National Seashore Guided Beach Discovery Walk with a ranger, along with other activities that will allow visitors to complete Canaveral National Seashore’s Junior Ranger Program.  Please bring water, sunscreen and dress for a day at the beach. (Gloves are recommended for the cleanup element of the program). The walk will last 1 hour.
