“Bustin Down the Door” to premiere in Melbourne

In an appropriate nod to East Coast Surfing, the producers of “Bustin Down the Door” a surf documentary which chronicles the rise of the sport whose humble beginnings began on the shores of Hawaii in the 1970s. 

Told from the mouths of its founders, this documentary takes a meticulous and almost squemish look at the life and times of a group of rag tag lovers of the surf and how they shaped a sport which has now become a multi-billion dollar business watched by millions on TV and the internet.

The documentary features surfing legends Mark Richards, Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholomew, Shaun Thomson, and Jeremy Gosch.  On a multi-tour, the movie will finally wash up on Florida’s Space Coast with a premiere and Q&A with Shaun Thomson and Peter Townend on August 15 at the Premiere Theatre Oaks , 1800 West Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne.
