More dog friendly jaunts…

Sorry this is a day late, but its better late than never, right?  Well anyway, on Monday I gave you all a listing of dog friendly Restaurants around Florida’s Space Coast where you can happily take FeFe or Fido along to enjoy your favorite cappacino or strawberry salad.

Today, my dog-friendly list will consist of public places where you can freely romp with your pup!  Although Brevard County beaches prohibit dogs, the following accept them whole-heartedly…

  1. Hi. This is Rose. Me and Kate, love to go to the lakes and mountains and swim and get muddy. We haven’t visited Florida yet. That’s a long car ride from where we live in Arizona. Oh, Kate’s an English Springer Spaniel and I’m a lovely Irish Setter. We love to travel with our two legged companions. We’re going to the beach this summer, at least we will if we learn all our new commands.

Dee, one of our two legged companions, says we have to absolutely, positively, without exception “come” when we’re called. That’s hard for Irish Setters, we get kinda focused on other stuff sometimes.

  2. Well Rose, you need to grab your companion’s pants leg and get them in the car and point the car Southeast for Florida!!!

  3. None of the county run dog parks have attendants anymore. They are a free for all but, if asked you should have proof. Port St. John’s dog park just opened.

Where’s Florida’s Space Coast?

Just 35 miles east of Orlando, you'll find 72 miles of picturesque Florida beaches known as Florida's Space Coast.

Along this impressive stretch of coastline, unspoiled nature preserves exist in perfect harmony with one of the first gateways to space - Kennedy Space Center.

Just had to share this beautiful shot of sunset at Fox Lake Park by @neegyrl #spacecoast #sunset #LoveFL #backroads #Florida #Titusville #visitspacecoast #gopro
